WELCOME TO EPAKO, a luxurious 11 000 ha game lodge situated in beautiful mountainous surroundings and conveniently positioned midway between Windhoek, Swakopmund and Etosha Pan.
Our lodge boasts a wide variety of animals including Giraffe, Elephant, Rhinos, Cheetahs, Leopards, Gnus (blue and black), Impalas, Springbuck, Waterbuck, Eland, Hartebeest, Zebras, Ostriches, Klipspringer, Dik-diks, Steenboks, Kudus, Oryx, Caracals and Jackals. At least 170 species of birds have been identified (click to see a list). Our game drives include visits to Bushman Paintings and Rock Engravings which are located within our boundaries.
We offer a warm and inviting atmosphere. One of the places most favoured by our guests is the inside and outside dining area which overlooks a waterhole. This drinking spot is frequented throughout the day by many different animals and lit up at night. Relax here and enjoy a meal or just a drink from the bar and if you are lucky you might meet Oscar, our tame giraffe.
Take pleasure in the feeding of the Cheetah and Caracal and sundowners on one of Epako’s mountains with wonderful views of the African landscape.
Accommodation is luxurious and all rooms have air-conditioning, a mini-bar, telephone, bathroom en suite and a terrace.
Meals are a combination of Namibian and French cuisine with excellent South African wines to complete the experience. Special diets are available on request.
The management of our lodge is fluent in French, English, German, Italian and Dutch, while our specially trained guides speak English, Herero and Afrikaans as well as a few words of French and German. We welcome you to our beautiful lodge and invite you to enjoy its unique and wonderful features.
